Stakeholder dialogue on structural change in the European automotive industry

The project enhances the dialogue between car industry (including its suppliers), unions, members of civil society and policy decision makers to contribute to a just transition of the car industry and its suppliers. In five partner countries – Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Hungary and Germany – the project 1) sets up an exchange group between European stakeholders of the car industry, 2) develops bottom-up pathways for the transition, 3) develops policy recommendations for the national transitions and the EU, and 4) carries out communication and dissemination activities to inform the public. A consortium of seven partners from central and eastern Europe is implementing the project with funding from the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
