German Energy Academy in Jordan

The government in Jordan wants to further expand the use of renewable energies, thereby increasing local value creation in the country and further promoting the efficient use of energy in industry and society.  These goals are supported by the German government through advisory and capacity building measures within the framework of the German-Jordanian Energy Partnership. Within the framework of the energy partnership, both governments have agreed to establish a "German Energy Academy in Jordan", which will train technicians from Jordan and in the region in the professional planning, construction and maintenance of renewable energy plants and solutions for increasing energy efficiency. ideas into energy is a German partner of this academy and is developing trainings for the academy with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and together with other German and Jordanian educational institutions.
